New Delhi, India: In an unprecedented meeting with His Excellency Harsh Vardhan Shringla, His Excellency Abhay Thakur, Additional Secretary G-20 and former India Ambassador to the United Nations, His Excellency Sandeep Chakravorty, now Joint Secretary to Europe West for the Ministry of External Affairs meet with Ron Gunnell, Advisor to the G-20 Interfaith Forum. The meeting was arranged by Mr. Gunnell for W. Cole Durham, President of the G-20 Interfaith Forum. Also present was King Husein, Advisor to the G-20 Interfaith Forum.

This is the first discussion with India Government Officials responsible for Hosting the G-20 Summit in India in 2023 and the G-20 Interfaith Forum. Discussions focused on a better understanding of how the G-20 Interfaith Forum can support and complement India’s role as a host nation for the most important Summit since India’s Independence 75 years ago.
